The stakes were high

Our challenge was to recruit head office staff, call centre people and software developers in a very crowded market that had lots of direct competition for the same pool of candidates. On top of that, SBG also asked us to make a bold statement that communicated their plans for expanding their head office in Leeds, opening their new office in Sheffield, and delivering on their aim to be the UK's best digital business to work for.

We got right to the centre of the action

Our solution involved a highly visible brand building campaign that covered Leeds and Sheffield. We targeted commuters with high impact outdoor advertising (48 sheet and 6 sheets), a full page ad in the Yorkshire Metro, and street teams over two days in both Leeds and Sheffield at morning and evening rush hour. The creative focused on close up and action sports photography that demonstrated the fast paced, challenging and agile environment at Sky Betting & Gaming.

And we smashed it out of the park

As the first piece of external comms for the Sky Betting & Gaming brand, the campaign was a huge success. Not only did it complement the PR campaign (which included a slot on BBC Look North with the Sky Betting & Gaming MD, Richard Flint), it also drove direct response to the Skybetcareers.com careers website and increased applications across all roles.
