Dandelion Blowing in the Wind

How far will our money go?

Here at Chatter, it’s not just us lot who put the miles in visiting clients and taking off on holidays whenever we get the chance.

We like to see how far we can make our money go, too. And one of the best ways to do that is to work with an organisation like Kiva Loans, who offer a service that allows us to loan much needed cash to low-income entrepreneurs and students in over 80 countries.

In fact, we like doing that so much that we give everyone who starts here $50 to loan to whoever they like. So let’s see how far our most recent Kiva loans have gone…

James

Sanari, Indonesia

“So, Kiva was a wholly new concept to me when introduced by my new colleagues at Chatter. What I really love about this scheme is that you can choose such a specific cause. You can donate to something/someone and you know exactly how that money is going to be used. I have to admit that reading lots of people’s individual stories is a little tough, and it’s even tougher to choose a cause more worthy than others, but I eventually settled on Sanari’s.”

“Sanari was looking for donations to help her to buy a water pump so that she and her family could have clean and safe water. As far as basic survival needs go, water is a biggie, so if my investment can go towards facilitating their family gaining access to an amenity that we have so readily, I’m happy with that!”

Rick

Boanegre, El-Salvador

“I love good bread, and recently I've been experimenting with baking my own Sourdoughs. So, firmly in the belief that the world needs good bread, I'd like to help Boanegre start his own bakery in El-Salvador to support his two daughters.”
