Meet the Chatterinos

After spending nearly 5 years in a Youth Engagement agency, Alex decided it was time to give something new a spin. Lucky for him (ok, and us), we were looking for an Account Manager, and the rest is history. Well, it would be if you could call March history.

Anyway, Alex has been flat out at 100mph ever since he joined the team, which means it’s been a whirlwind few months, and working at a bigger agency has been a bit of an eye-opener. In his own words: “I’ve kind of been dragged into the 21st century from an agency point of view, and I’m loving it!”

He’s also the first to say that he’s learned loads and is really getting to grips with the People Comms sector, too. And that’s probably because it’s pretty important to him that his work is helping other people in one way or another. “I do get a warm fuzzy feeling seeing our campaigns come to life and help people find the right career for them - cheesy, but true!”

We put a brew on and grabbed five with Alex so we could fire the usual questions at him: if you could read, watch, listen and own one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Here’s what he told us…

“As a teenager I thought I was a lot cooler than I actually was so never read Harry Potter… instead I was an Artemis Fowl kinda guy! He was much cooler. Obviously. I don’t read anywhere near as much as I used to, but I’d always be happy revisiting those stories.”

“Does Netflix count? Or is that a cheat? It would probably be something like Coach Carter or Remember the Titans - love a good sporting underdog film.”

“It’d have to be Hybrid Theory - Linkin Park: it was the absolute soundtrack of my teenage years and brings me back to some of the best days of my life during my basketball career.”

“It’s got to be my house… proudest moment of my life was getting the keys and it felt so weird to not only own a house, but own things within a house that I’d never technically owned before. Weird stuff… like banisters, light switches and windows.”
