National Coding Week - What’s happening?

National Coding Week is once again upon us, beginning on the 16th of September. It's a volunteer-led organisation founded in 2014 which aims to help build people’s confidence and skills by encouraging volunteers to run fun and engaging digital events.

Coding plays a big part here at Chatter. Digital solutions are often at the heart of our work, ranging from careers websites to chatbots to cv builders, so we know the importance of coding and the people behind it! Here are some of the events, workshops and talks you can find happening in Leeds in the coming weeks.

How to Kick Start Your Coding Career

Naomi & Rachel, hosts of Leeds Frontend Meetup, are hosting a workshop with Junior Hub designed for anyone looking to get a career in coding but doesn't know where to start. The workshop will cover the importance of self teaching, where to get started and how to land your first developer job. Expect speakers from the tech industry who will share their industry knowledge and stories, and hopefully take questions that can help you to kick start your coding career. The workshop is free and open to everyone, no prior knowledge or experience required. Click here to book your place.
