ITV Apprentices
How did we help ITV achieve an increase in BAME apprenticeship applications by a massive 42%?
With...
More than TV.
Where we started
ITV have a unique vision to be ‘More Than TV’. It’s an ambition that’s helping make sure their workforce better reflects the communities they serve. We worked with ITV to craft an Apprenticeship campaign that aligned with their vision, encouraged BAME groups to apply for roles across the board, and drove a more equal gender split across tech and commercial.
What we did
First stop was a social first campaign that used Facebook, Instagram, Spotify and TikTok to target our audiences geographically and demographically. We used census data to identify even more diverse locations to help ramp up ITV’s commitment to social mobility and then reinforced our messages outside of social by partnering with a range of BAME centric organisations.
Using non-traditional job boards helped to expand our reach
further alongside an inclusive application process which included blind CV applications.
What it delivered
This was more than just engagement - it recorded an incredible 1500 applications. Compared to the previous year’s programme this was a:
42%
increase across BAME applications
20%
increase across disability applications
33%
increase in male applications
