How does the Morribot help 1,000 job-hunters to create a CV every month, encouraging a more diverse workforce?

Morrisons briefed us to help encourage applications from a more diverse pool of people – but they also wanted to help empower those people to apply for jobs outside the company too. Many candidates for roles at the company’s stores, factories and warehouses may not have a CV, and English may not be their first language.
Our idea came from one simple concept – everyone knows how to chat online. From this we created the Morribot, a CV builder chatbot. Applicants don’t need anything other than a phone to create a professional, downloadable CV based on their answers to a few simple questions. The CV remains unbranded so people can also use it to apply for roles elsewhere.
The custom-built Morribot includes a job match tool so candidates can ask it to find them suitable roles at Morrisons – making it much simpler to find the jobs they’re best suited to.

On average 1,000 CVs are created every month using the Morribot and 10,000-15,000 job searches are completed. Through one function or another, Morrisons is helping people from diverse backgrounds get the job they want.
