What goes around comes around, they say. Which means Ellen must’ve done something pretty terrible in a previous life to wind up back in the same team as Lisa, Paul and Jon just a few short years after escaping.
After spending time in the product advertising world including a 5 year stint in Sydney where she worked in full service creative agencies like M&C Saatchi and JWT (servicing clients like Google, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson), developed comms strategies and produced content for leading digital and content marketing agencies, and finally taking off snowboarding around Canada and the States for 6 months, Ellen is back. And this time she’s not fresh out of uni, which means filing definitely isn’t part of her job description anymore.
As is tradition here at the Roost, we asked Ellen if she could listen to, read, watch and own one thing, what would they be. Here’s what she told us…
“I've developed a bit of a podcast addiction, so I'd have to say my favourite show called The One You Feed (contrary to popular belief, it wouldn't be Neil Diamond!).”
“I love a good Roald Dahl book, they remind me not to take life too seriously.”
“Can I say Netflix? Haha, I'm guessing not... I'd say history documentaries - I know I sound like a geek but I really could watch them all day everyday.”
“That's easy... lip balm!”
