After falling in love with all things creative during a design degree at London Guildhall University, Vix kickstarted her career designing adverts for the Reading Chronicle. From there, she felt the pull of God’s own country and relocated up to Leeds to work for a large agency, where she met three cracking folk by the names of Lisa, Paul and Jon. Life would never be the same again!
After a brief spell here and there at a couple more agencies across the North, she’s now based in Reading with her lovely kids and, thanks to the time and expectation management skills she picked up during agency life, successfully self-employed.
Together we’ve brought life to a whole host of brands, creating design solutions that captivate, engage and make a BIG impact – and most importantly, solutions that we’re proud of.
Amongst social media graphics and booklets amends galore, we found some time to catch up with Vix and ask her the burning question on everyone’s lips… If you could only watch, read, listen to and own one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
“I’m not sure I could just pick one book. But I’ve just discovered Alex Marwood. The Killer Next Door and The Wicked Girls are a great read.”
“Currently the highlight of my TV watching is discovering an episode of Topsy and Tim or Bing that I haven’t watched before... Seriously! As for grown up TV, I’ve just discovered Line of Duty, so it would have to be that.”
“Tricky…. Paul would say anything from the 80’s (and he’s not far wrong!), and Lisa would probably say China In Your Hands. But I'd have to say Bon Iver, Skinny Love. And when I’m working I love a bit of talk radio, so LBC.”
“I should say my iMac, but I also want a Winery and my dishwasher (again – seriously!)”
