So, Friday was the launch party and we'd intended to blog about it a bit sooner, but the hangover's have only just really subsided. We're glad to hear we weren't the only ones feeling the pain!
The Chatterers met early at The Loft in Leeds to get things up and running, but after shifting some of the furniture around and checking that sound, lighting & showreel were working, there wasn't much more we could do other than make ourselves look beautiful, and crack open a bottle of fizz.
Yes, we had that nervous knot in our tummies, wondering whether people would show. But after the first couple of dozen had made an appearance we were soon into the swing of things. By the time we made our speech, we were packed out. The live band, Victoria's Reign, really got the party jumping, and we'd like to point out that Chatter can in no way accept liability for any damage sustained to ear drums - they were LOUD!
We had an amazing turnout and some great feedback about our brand, our proposition, and our website. We even picked up a meeting to talk about a potential business opportunity thanks to an introduction from our Accountant!
Thanks to everyone who came and supported us. Particular thanks go to Mark Pearson for executing an almost faultless windmill dance move right across the floor! Check out photos taken before things got (too) messy below, and you can catch up with the post-party chat on our Facebook page and Twitter feed.
