Our Digital Credentials

The most experienced in-house digital team in Employer Brand.

Our in-house digital team is fully UK based and knows what makes a great careers website - they specialise in building websites that represent employer brands for the recruitment and candidate market.
Harry - head of projects
“Having in-house digital affords us the ability to look at client problems holistically, and deliver innovative digital solutions - not just effective and engaging careers websites. We’ve been able to create a whole host of ‘digital products’ and bespoke solutions to address specific challenges in the people and recruitment sector.”

Harry Milton,

Head of Projects

One size

doesn't fit all.

We know that careers website created by ATS providers provide little flex for clients - for whom culture, messaging and hiring difficulties are unique - so we start with a really user-friendly and flexible content management system and then apply our unique toolkit and functionality to customise the site to meet specific design/branding objectives.

We believe candidate and employee experience could be better in our industry so we’ll deliver solutions specifically designed to solve your problems and aligned with your people strategies so you have a high performing careers website that attracts top talent, is cost-effective and creates credibility for your brand.

More than just a provider -
we're partners

We can take care of a lot of things… from managing integration with ATS providers to connecting with legal and data protection teams to talk cookie policy. Loop in your IT team and we’ll happily talk about hosting websites and what we need from them. A requirement for security pen-testing? We’ll work with providers to ensure everything goes smoothly.

On-demand Support

With all our sites built in-house, we’re on-hand when you need us to quickly get to the heart of any issues and have you and your site back in play as quickly as possible.

Award-winning Innovation

But don’t take our word for it - we’re proud to be multiple winners of Awards in the Employer Brand space both for careers websites, and for digital innovation with industry-firsts such as our Readability tool and ChatBot that have helped our clients solve big people/HR challenges.

Accessible Sites By Design

Accessibility

Catalysed by the pandemic, the world of work has changed permanently as employers adapt to compete and attract top talent. Website accessibility helps create a competitive advantage, attracting a wider talent pool and driving diversity to create more adaptive, effective teams that lead to business success.

With ED&I at the top of the agenda for many of our clients, building connection and belonging starts at the very first brand touch point - the website. We recently collaborated with The Shaw Trust and ITVs internal accessibility team to understand issues not being addressed by off-the-shelf accessibility plugins and build a highly engaging and relevant careers site to attract a new generation of diverse talent. Take a look at the final site here.

Morribot

During the pandemic, Morrisons urgently needed to recruit a large volume of workers from diverse backgrounds where English language, tech skills and CVs were limited. To create a seamless and accessible candidate journey we developed the Morribot - a CV-building chatbot that asks leading questions to create a downloadable CV document to apply for roles. It also included a job match tool so candidates can simply ask it to find suitable roles at Morrisons – making it much simpler to find the jobs they’re best suited to. See it live here.

We not only won an innovation award for this but we’ve been able to adapt it and make it work for a number of clients across different industries.

An award-winning Readability App

With the average UK reading age being that of a 9 year old, our job description readability app can make sure job adverts work hard for people with less advanced reading skills or for whom English is a 2nd language. The tool also helps you evaluate job descriptions, highlighting and providing advice around any off-putting wording such as common masculine overtones, making job ads work as hard as possible to attract the right talent.

Bring your own browser

All our websites are built to be “responsive” - designed to scale and organise content to fit any screen size ensuring your brand and content engages candidates as intended. Website performance is always paramount using a number of tools to ensure sites provide a seamless and optimum experience for users.

Global aspirations?

Hello, Bonjour, 안녕하세요, Hola

We’ve got boatloads of experience building multilingual websites, structuring them so that Google will display native language pages in search results when browsing locally e.g. Finnish pages when browsing the internet in Finland.

You're not beholden to one ATS provider

Our website toolkit has tried and tested code for integrating with ATS systems, providing ATS-agnostic functionality for searching and displaying jobs. It makes it a much smaller job if you choose to swap out to a different ATS provider later down the line.

This flexibility also means we can pull in jobs from multiple ATS systems, creating one consistent search and job displaying interface for candidates - a bespoke solution developed in-house which can be customised in a number of ways - from manipulating ATS data to provide better filtering options for the candidates, automatically posting new jobs across other channels such as a Facebook Workplace intranet to aid internal mobility or exporting as XML for easy shares with job site partners.

Security

Our servers, CMS and code toolkits have been rigorously tested by many clients’ pen-testing partners - and we’re proud to say with glowing feedback! We’ve also got a lot of experience in writing secure code ensuring the utmost data security across all our websites.

Rick - Head of Digital

Rick's Background

Leading our digital offer and spearheading innovation across all our solutions is Rick, with over 25 years of building websites and digital ‘things’ across a multitude of sectors including corporate systems, e-commerce, creative agencies, recruitment and PR.

Having designed and created possibly the first database-driven online course prospectus for Leeds Metropolitan University back in the late 1990s, Rick has also worked on e-commerce sites for The Guardian, Classic FM, The Hut Group, Sainsbury’s, and ASDA to name but a few. Rick’s breakthrough into the recruitment sector was with a leading public sector executive search company GatenbySanderson where he developed a sizeable bespoke Job-board/ATS/headhunting platform that much of the business ran off and is still in use today, along with a unique assessment platform, used by Ofsted and the CQC among others.

There’s no problem too small or complex with our in-house team - Rick is the brains behind our most innovative and award-winning tech solutions, bringing down barriers and creating effective and seamless candidate experiences so your business and organisation can outperform its competitors in everything from people to shareholder value.
